Care guide

At Talking Walls, we work exclusively with natural fibres chosen for their character, texture and longevity. When treated with care, these materials only grow more beautiful over time.

Pieces crafted from silk and modal deserve a gentle approach. These fibres are strong by nature, yet
sensitive to heat, friction and harsh products. Always consult the care label inside your garment.

Garments made from silk or modal should be hand washed only, in water up to 30°C, using a liquid detergent specifically formulated for wool and silk. Do not soak. Handle the fabric lightly and allow it to airdry.

Steaming is preferred over ironing. If you are uncertain about caring for the piece at home, professional dry cleaning is recommended.

Stories told

You walk past it thinking it’s a mirage — something flickering in the corner of your eye. But the shimmer stays. And the closer you look, the less certain you become. Tiles? A mosaic? A pool floor, maybe? You start seeing patterns: a grid that dissolves and reforms as the light shifts. It looks like water, but it’s still. And then you realise: it’s a table. A small, round coffee table, built from hundreds of tiny glass fragments. It behaves like a surface of memory — reflective, layered, quietly hypnotic. Not just furniture, but something in between: part object, part illusion. It sits still, but refuses to stay silent.

More about Reflektor
This image barely settles into a subject. It slips instead of speaks. Yellow forms drift across a field of green and white, as if the wall is caught mid-movement — pigment still deciding what it wants to become. You can sense the gesture of a hand, the drag of a brush, the moment where intention dissolves into motion. Nothing is sharp, nothing insists on outline. It’s not an image of something — it’s the memory of seeing, slowed down. A wall that doesn’t describe a place, but a state: between focus and disappearance
