What is Talking Walls?

Talking Walls transforms real artwork found on walls around the world into refined garments and textiles. Each piece carries traces of place, time, and life — translated into wearable form.

Are your designs original and how do you handle copyright?

Yes. Every design is created from authentic artwork discovered in the world — murals, tiles, textures, and traces of life — carefully translated into wearable form.

Whenever we work with found artwork, we seek to identify and contact the artist, creator, or rights holder, and obtain permission where required. We make every reasonable effort to trace the origin and ownership of the works we use. In certain cases, however, authorship or rights may not be fully identifiable.

If you believe that material featured on this website infringes your rights, or if you are the rightful owner of a work presented here, please contact us at customerservice@talkingwalls.world with supporting information. We will review your request carefully and take appropriate action where necessary.

Collaboration & community

Can I collaborate with Talking Walls in discovering or sourcing designs?

Collaboration is central to Talking Walls. Many of the works we translate into our pieces are discovered and shared by people connected to the brand — across places, cultures, and perspectives. A meaningful part of our designs originates from our community.

When a contribution leads to a design, we recognise its origin. Whenever applicable, artists, photographers, or contributors are credited on garment livery, packaging, and across our digital communication, including product pages.

What materials do you use?

We work with carefully selected fabrics — including silk-modal, fine cotton, wool blends, and other noble materials — chosen for comfort, durability, and refined character. We continuously explore new fabrics and techniques to further refine our pieces.

Where are your garments produced?

Our collections are crafted by specialised manufacturers and ateliers in Calcutta and Delhi (India), as well as in selected regions of Italy. We work with trusted partners known for their craftsmanship and precision, while continuously developing new techniques and materials.

How do I choose the right size?

Each product page includes a size guide. If in doubt, feel free to contact us — we are happy to assist.

Are your skirts suitable for different body types?

Yes. Many of our skirts feature flexible waistbands and thoughtful construction designed to adapt to different silhouettes.

How should I care for my Talking Walls piece?

Care instructions are provided on the garment label and product page. Proper care helps preserve the beauty and longevity of your piece.

Orders & shipping

Where do you ship?

We ship worldwide.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are usually dispatched within a few working days. Delivery times vary depending on destination and shipping method.

Will I have to pay customs or import duties?

For orders outside the EU, local customs duties and taxes may apply according to your country’s regulations.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking link.

Returns & exchanges

Can I return or exchange an item?

Items can be returned within the specified return period, provided they are unworn, unused, and in original condition. Items purchased on sale are not eligible for return or exchange.

How do I request a return?

When will I receive my refund?

Refunds are processed after inspection of the returned item. Depending on your payment provider, this may take a few working days.

Availability

An item I like is sold out. Will it come back?

Some pieces may return, while others remain limited. When an item is sold out, you may leave your name via the notification prompt on the product page and we will inform you if it becomes available again.

Do you produce limited editions?

Yes. Many Talking Walls pieces are produced in small quantities.
