Delivery

All (Benelux) orders are shipped by BPost or DPD. They offer a tracking service to your doorstep. Upon ordering we will provide full information and tracking ID as soon as parcel is collected by our shipping partner.

Lead time delivery is 4 business days for stock orders. During busier periods, delivery may take a little longer. If an item is not in stock, we will inform you of the expected delivery time.

Care guide and a note on colour

At Talking Walls, we work exclusively with natural fibres selected for their character, warmth and longevity. With the right care, these materials evolve beautifully over time.

Cotton is more resilient than silk or cashmere, yet it still benefits from a thoughtful routine —
particularly when printed or tailored. Always consult the care label inside your garment.

Machine wash at 30°C on a delicate programme, using a mild detergent without bleach. A detergent formulated for wool or silk is also suitable and helps preserve colour. Turn printed pieces inside out before washing and avoid overloading the machine. Select a low spin cycle, maximum 600 rpm.

Once the cycle ends, take the garment out and allow it to air dry. Do not tumble dry.

Cotton can be ironed on a moderate setting. Steaming is also a gentle alternative.

If you feel unsure about washing at home, professional dry cleaning is recommended.

A note on colour

Next to the stories of our walls, colours are our playground and an essential part of everything we create. We care deeply about them. Still, slight variations may occur between the colours you see in our campaign and lookbook images and the final piece you receive. Different fabrics, printing techniques and production runs can all influence how a colour comes to life.

We believe this is part of the beauty of working with real materials, where small variations are simply part of their character.

An African landscape survives thousands of kilometers from home, quietly waiting inside an Antwerp antique shop.

Among stacks of forgotten paintings, dusty frames and objects with long-forgotten stories, this watercolour quietly stood apart. Discovered in an antique shop in Antwerp, it depicts a peaceful African scene: lush banana plants, towering tropical trees and a small round hut resting in the shade. The artist captured the landscape with remarkable restraint, letting soft washes of green, ochre and earth tones do the storytelling.

Time has become part of the artwork. The paper has aged beautifully, its warm patina framing the painting almost as naturally as the landscape itself. What was once someone’s treasured memory has travelled far from its origin, eventually finding a new home among curious eyes searching for hidden gems.

There is something poetic about discovering a tropical landscape on a rainy afternoon in Belgium. The painting no longer belongs to one place alone. It carries both the warmth of its subject and the quiet history of the journey that brought it here.

When translated into textile, the loose brushstrokes and layered greens retained their painterly softness. Warm earth tones, tropical foliage and delicate washes of colour created a print that feels calm, sunlit and timeless. Bananarama became a reminder that sometimes the most distant journeys begin with the smallest discoveries.
