Care guide and a note on colour

At Talking Walls, we work exclusively with natural fibres chosen for their character, texture and longevity. When treated with care, these materials only grow more beautiful over time.

Pieces crafted from silk and modal deserve a gentle approach. These fibres are strong by nature, yet
sensitive to heat, friction and harsh products. Always consult the care label inside your garment.

Garments made from silk or modal should be hand washed only, in water up to 30°C, using a liquid detergent specifically formulated for wool and silk. Do not soak. Handle the fabric lightly and allow it to airdry.

Steaming is preferred over ironing. If you are uncertain about caring for the piece at home, professional dry cleaning is recommended.

A note on colour

Next to the stories of our walls, colours are our playground and an essential part of everything we create. We care deeply about them. Still, slight variations may occur between the colours you see in our campaign and lookbook images and the final piece you receive. Different fabrics, printing techniques and production runs can all influence how a colour comes to life.

We believe this is part of the beauty of working with real materials, where small variations are simply part of their character.

Stories told

Les Yeux Du Panier
Marseille, France
43° 17’ 55.40” N, 5° 22’ 4.90” E

In the narrow alleyways of Le Panier, the oldest part of Marseille, we found a wall covered in faces, masks, portraits, colours and fragments. Nothing seems to belong to just one moment. It feels assembled over time, with every surface adding another eye, another expression, another piece of the neighbourhood.

Tigre Atlantique
La Rochelle , France
46° 9’ 33.06” N, 1° 9’ 2.56” W

Seen in a small alleyway in La Rochelle, this image is wonderfully simple: a white tiger walking across a deep blue rectangle, pasted onto an old stone wall not far from the Atlantic coast. Two colours, sharp stripes and a strong silhouette, with enough scratches, torn edges and worn stone to make the whole thing feel perfectly at home.
