Care guide

At Talking Walls, we work exclusively with natural fibres chosen for their character, texture and longevity. When treated with care, these materials only grow more beautiful over time.

Pieces crafted from silk, linen, cashmere and wool deserve a gentle approach. These fibres are strong by nature, yet sensitive to heat, friction and harsh treatments. Always consult the care label inside your garment.

These garments should not be machine washed. Hand wash only, in water up to 30°C, using a liquid detergent specifically formulated for wool and silk. Do not soak. Handle the fabric lightly — avoid rubbing or wringing — and allow it to air dry naturally, away from direct heat or sunlight.

Steaming is preferred over ironing.

If you are uncertain about caring for the piece at home, professional dry cleaning is recommended.

Stories told

Discovered in Copenhagen inside a store that has since disappeared, this artwork transforms the classic still life into something raw, graphic, and unexpectedly alive.

Bright red flowers stretch across a dark surface beside dripping paint, sharp branches, scattered splashes, and a pale blue vase decorated with black cats.

Moving between elegance and spontaneity, thick brushstrokes remain visible. Paint runs down the surface. Floral forms loosen into instinctive gestures rather than perfect arrangements. Saturated reds, electric oranges, deep blacks, and glowing greens create a palette that feels both playful and intense.

Nothing feels overly controlled. The composition keeps shifting between refinement and interruption, between decorative beauty and expressive disorder. Even the cats on the vase seem slightly unimpressed by the entire scene.

The disappearance of the store itself became part of the image. A vivid artwork surviving a place no longer there. Fortunately, we arrived in time.

On textile, the darker background allows the colours to glow almost independently, while the irregular gestures and layered paint textures create movement across the garment.

FELIX became a collision of colour, instinct, and atmosphere, expressive, vibrant, and perhaps just a little too confident for a traditional floral still life.
