Care guide

At Talking Walls, we work exclusively with natural fibres selected for their character, warmth and longevity. With the right care, these materials evolve beautifully over time.

Cotton is more resilient than silk or cashmere, yet it still benefits from a thoughtful routine —
particularly when printed or tailored. Always consult the care label inside your garment.

Machine wash at 30°C on a delicate programme, using a mild detergent without bleach. A detergent formulated for wool or silk is also suitable and helps preserve colour. Turn printed pieces inside out before washing and avoid overloading the machine. Select a low spin cycle, maximum 600 rpm.

Once the cycle ends, take the garment out and allow it to air dry. Do not tumble dry.

Cotton can be ironed on a moderate setting. Steaming is also a gentle alternative.

If you feel unsure about washing at home, professional dry cleaning is recommended.

Stories told

Seen from the street, this wall first reads as a gentle landscape: rounded hills beneath a wide, soft blue sky, a few birds drifting through the air. Look again, and the ground beneath them shifts. These hills are not built from earth or stone, but entirely from flowers — petal by petal, repetition becoming volume. There is no tension in the sky, no sharpness in the colour. Everything is rounded, softened, eased into place. Even the birds are reduced to simple gestures. After the island’s usual rush of colour, it feels like Koh Pa-Ngan exhaling — the same light, the same climate, filtered through restraint. Not spectacle, but tenderness.
