A sun-drenched peach tree against a clear blue sky became the starting point for this impressionist wall painting, found somewhere along the road in France. Painted by Felix and Marin Toqué, the image breaks fruit, leaves, and branches into soft fragments of peach, coral, burgundy, pink, and pale blue.

Nothing is drawn too literally. The peaches become glowing circles, the leaves turn into loose patches of colour, and the branches cut through the composition like warm red lines. The result feels light, generous, and full of summer heat, as if the tree is remembered rather than simply painted.

When translated into textile, the composition kept that same sunlit rhythm. Fruit, foliage, and sky dissolve into colour blocks, giving the design a painterly softness with just enough structure to keep it alive.

Discovered on a wall in La Rochelle, LUNETTES brings together a crowd of elegant women who clearly know how to look without being too obvious about it.

The repetition gives the image its rhythm, while the glasses add colour and personality. Each face looks slightly different, yet they all seem to belong to the same conversation. A little mysterious. A little amused. Very sure of themselves.
