Care guide and a note on colour

At Talking Walls, we work exclusively with natural fibres chosen for their character, texture and longevity. When treated with care, these materials only grow more beautiful over time.

Pieces crafted from silk and modal deserve a gentle approach. These fibres are strong by nature, yet
sensitive to heat, friction and harsh products. Always consult the care label inside your garment.

Garments made from silk or modal should be hand washed only, in water up to 30°C, using a liquid detergent specifically formulated for wool and silk. Do not soak. Handle the fabric lightly and allow it to airdry.

Steaming is preferred over ironing. If you are uncertain about caring for the piece at home, professional dry cleaning is recommended.

A note on colour

Next to the stories of our walls, colours are our playground and an essential part of everything we create. We care deeply about them. Still, slight variations may occur between the colours you see in our campaign and lookbook images and the final piece you receive. Different fabrics, printing techniques and production runs can all influence how a colour comes to life.

We believe this is part of the beauty of working with real materials, where small variations are simply part of their character.

Stories told

Pêche
, Somewhere in France

Somewhere along a road in France, a sun-drenched peach tree caught our eye. Painted by Felix and Marin Toqué, the fruit, leaves and branches break apart into soft fragments of peach, coral, burgundy, pink and pale blue, giving the scene the feeling of a summer memory rather than a literal painting.

Lunettes
La Rochelle, France
46° 9’ 45.06” N, 1° 8’ 56.36” W

Discovered on a wall in La Rochelle, LUNETTES brings together a crowd of elegant women who clearly know how to look without being too obvious about it. Rows of faces, red lips, coloured sunglasses and carefully drawn silhouettes create a scene that feels somewhere between a seaside poster, a beauty salon wall and a very well-informed group of ladies quietly judging the street.
