Care guide and a note on colour

At Talking Walls, we work exclusively with natural fibres chosen for their character, texture and longevity. When treated with care, these materials only grow more beautiful over time.

Pieces crafted from silk and modal deserve a gentle approach. These fibres are strong by nature, yet
sensitive to heat, friction and harsh products. Always consult the care label inside your garment.

Garments made from silk or modal should be hand washed only, in water up to 30°C, using a liquid detergent specifically formulated for wool and silk. Do not soak. Handle the fabric lightly and allow it to airdry.

Steaming is preferred over ironing. If you are uncertain about caring for the piece at home, professional dry cleaning is recommended.

A note on colour

Next to the stories of our walls, colours are our playground and an essential part of everything we create. We care deeply about them. Still, slight variations may occur between the colours you see in our campaign and lookbook images and the final piece you receive. Different fabrics, printing techniques and production runs can all influence how a colour comes to life.

We believe this is part of the beauty of working with real materials, where small variations are simply part of their character.

Stories told

Tinsel Town, Filipino style.
Discovered in the Makati district of Manila, this image captures a moment where the city seems to fold onto itself. Reflections in glass, glowing neon, passing people and the façade of Club Hollywood merge into a single composition where it becomes difficult to tell what is real and what is reflected.

Everything overlaps. A doorway becomes transparent, pedestrians drift through the scene like ghosts, and pink, red and violet light wash over the street. For a split second, the ordinary transforms into something almost cinematic.

The photograph doesn’t celebrate nightlife as much as the atmosphere surrounding it. The glow, the movement, the visual noise and the countless stories crossing paths on a warm tropical evening. A place where nothing stays still long enough to be seen just once.

When translated into textile, the composition kept those overlapping layers. Neon reflections, blurred silhouettes and saturated colours create a print that changes as the fabric moves, revealing new fragments with every fold. Like the streets of Manila themselves, the image is never completely still.
