Found somewhere in Belgium, this stack of old cookie tins brings together tartan patterns, daisies, seventies flowers, faded metal, scratches, and one very unexpected golf bag. Apparently biscuits once came with quite a lot of visual ambition. Each tin has its own personality. Red and green checks, blue lines, tiny pink flowers, psychedelic purple daisies, rusty edges, dented corners, and colours softened by years of cupboards, kitchens, attics, and probably a few family arguments over who ate the last biscuit. Nothing matches perfectly. Which helps enormously. The patterns sit on top of each other like a small domestic archive. A bit Scottish. A bit floral. A bit sporty. A bit confused. But together, strangely stylish. The kind of object that was never meant to become interesting, and then quietly did.
