Sometimes all it takes is a few rectangles of colour to make a wall smile.

Discovered in Miami, this mural keeps things wonderfully simple. Wide vertical bands of lemon yellow, citrus green, faded peach, soft orange and deep teal stretch across the brick façade, letting colour do most of the talking.

The bricks remain visible beneath the paint, giving the neat blocks an unexpected texture. Sunlight has softened some of the colours over time, while faint marks and the surface of the brick add little imperfections to the geometry.

There is something very Miami about the palette. Warm, sunny and slightly tropical, it turns a simple wall into something that immediately changes the mood of the street.

When translated into textiles, we kept that same graphic clarity. The vertical colour fields become softer on fabric, while the subtle texture adds depth as the material moves and folds.

A simple wall, a handful of colours, and a very good mood.
