A little garden, hidden in a Varanasi alleyway.
Lush green leaves and striking yellow accents stand out against the warm beige backdrop, surrounded by delicate pink and green floral patterns. Around the edges, an intricate border brings together blue, pink and green motifs, adding another layer of detail to the composition.
There is something wonderfully harmonious about the way all these colours and patterns sit together. Nothing feels too separate. The leaves, flowers and border become one continuous floral scene.
When translated into textiles, we kept that same sense of abundance and detail. The foliage, blossoms and decorative border spread across the fabric, creating a composition that reveals different elements as it moves and folds.
A little Varanasi garden, found where you least expect it.
