A storm, but make it floral.

Found by Pascale Michel, owner of Scènes de Menage, a wonderful vintage shop in Brussels, this hand-painted rug brings together dark blue waves, swirling surf and quicksilver white flowers. The sea looks restless, while the flowers seem to have been caught up in the movement and sent flying into the sky.

There is something rather beautiful about that contrast. The power and chaos of the sea meet the delicacy of flowers, creating a scene that feels somewhere between a storm and a dream.

When translated into textiles, we kept that same unexpected meeting of movement and delicacy. The dark blue waves swirl across the fabric, while the white flowers rise through the composition, creating a print that feels alive with movement.
