A gathering of winged friends, each one with its own colour story.

We found this beautifully ornate piece of art in an old antique shop in the old town of Marbella, Spain. There is something captivating about the way each bird seems to have its own personality, brought to life through a different combination of colours.

The intricate details give the artwork the feeling of something that has been carefully collected and kept over time. The birds sit together as one composition, yet each one remains completely its own.

When translated into textiles, we kept that same sense of variety. The winged figures and their individual colours come together across the fabric, creating a composition that changes as you move through it.
