Someone wasn’t particularly happy with the posters during New York Fashion Week covering this wall on 10th Avenue in New York.

And yet, somehow, the result is an aesthetic masterpiece created with zero intention.

Layers of posters overlap, tear and disappear into one another, leaving behind fragments of colour, type and images. What started as something someone clearly wanted to remove became something far more interesting in the process.

There is something we love about accidents like this. No artist planned the composition, no one carefully chose the colours, and yet the wall has found its own rhythm.

When translated into textiles, we kept that same accidental energy. The layers, torn edges and fragments come together in a composition that shifts with the movement of the fabric.

A New York wall, proving that sometimes the best compositions happen when nobody is trying.
