The Fiestas Primaverales of April ’46.

A beautiful old poster found somewhere along the road in the South of France, carrying us back to a very different spring.

There is something about old posters that makes you wonder about the event they once announced. Who went? What did the streets look like? What music was playing? And, most importantly, what did everyone wear?

This one caught our eye simply because it has survived. Once made to be seen, then perhaps forgotten, it now has a second life as a little fragment of visual history.

When translated into textiles, we kept that same vintage character. The poster becomes a wearable piece of springtime nostalgia, bringing the colours, typography and atmosphere of the original into motion.

April ’46, found somewhere in the South of France, and still looking rather good.
