A little bit of gold, a lot of flowers.

Found in an Antwerp antique shop, this gilded floral motif caught our eye as the golden hour brought out every detail. Vibrant purple and blue irises bloom across a mahogany surface, surrounded by intricate spirals and shimmering gold leaf.

The Victorian gold leafing technique gives the flowers an almost jewel-like quality. Each iris stands apart in colour, while the gilded details bring the whole composition together.

When translated into textiles, we kept that same richness. The irises, golden details and swirling motifs spread across the fabric, creating a print that reveals something new with every fold.
