Leopard

A leopard, hiding in plain sight.

Found on a bridge in Antwerp, this mural caught our eye with its intense gaze. Two leopard eyes emerge from a jungle of blue and green foliage, bringing a touch of nature to a part of the city surrounded by concrete and industry.

Look down and the scene changes completely. The underpass is lined with graffiti and parked cars, creating a wonderfully unexpected contrast with the vibrant jungle above. Nature and the city, side by side.

When translated into textiles, we kept that same contrast. The leopard’s eyes remain the focus, surrounded by layers of foliage that shift and move with the fabric.

A little piece of the jungle, discovered above an Antwerp underpass.
