Found in the streets of Montpellier, this beautiful mixed-media artwork comes from the hands of Egyptian-born Montpelliérain artist Jan Noah. There is something wonderfully mysterious about it, the kind of image that leaves you looking a little longer and wondering what exactly is happening.

Perhaps it is a moment of calm. Perhaps it is a scene from somewhere between waking and dreaming. Or perhaps Dante really should have the final word.

When translated into textiles, we kept that same dreamlike quality. The mixed-media elements come together in a composition that feels layered and slightly mysterious, allowing the image to shift as the fabric moves.
