Light has a way of making colour behave differently.

Found in a restaurant in Brussels’ Sablon area, this stained glass artwork brings together simple geometric shapes in blue, green, yellow, red and orange. On their own, the panes are beautiful. Once the light passes through them, the whole composition starts to glow.

There is something wonderfully simple about it. No complicated subject, just shapes, colour and light doing what they do best.

When translated into textiles, we kept that same play between geometry and colour. The different shapes come together across the fabric, while the folds create new overlaps and unexpected combinations.
