Time does not always disappear. Sometimes it simply hangs quietly on the wall.

We found this remarkable wall in an old building somewhere in India, covered with sepia photographs, faded portraits and architectural views. Each image sits in a mismatched wooden frame, preserving a small fragment of another era.

Together, the photographs feel less like decoration and more like a family archive. Different faces, different places and different moments come together on one wall, quietly telling a story across generations.

What makes it beautiful is the accumulation. Nothing needs to match perfectly. The different frames and faded images create a composition shaped by time itself.

When translated into textiles, we kept that same sense of collected memories. The photographs, frames and aged tones come together in a layered composition, like fragments of a story gathered over the years.
