Crystal

A little calm, painted onto a wall.

Found in Istanbul, these black mandala patterns unfold across a muted yellow surface in intricate, symmetrical forms. The more you look, the more details appear, with each pattern drawing you further into its winding shapes.

There is something rather lovely about the contrast. Outside, the city is busy and constantly moving. Here, everything feels measured and still. Whether they were created as a fleeting artistic expression or a small act of rebellion, they bring a quiet elegance to an otherwise weathered corner.

When translated into textiles, we kept that same hypnotic rhythm. The symmetrical patterns spread across the fabric, revealing new details as the material moves and folds.

A little Istanbul calm, drawn in black and yellow.
