Cables

A wall of waves, without a drop of water.

Found in the streets of Mumbai, this abstract mural is built entirely around vertical movement. Rich gold and black tones flow across the upper part of the composition before gradually shifting into blue, with just a hint of pink breaking through.

There is something fascinating about the way simple lines can create a feeling of movement. The colours seem to flow down the wall, making the surface feel almost fluid.

When translated into textiles, we kept that same sense of movement. The vertical waves and changing colours travel across the fabric, shifting with every fold.

A little Mumbai movement, painted from top to bottom.
