The bold face at Brasserie Illegaal near Brussels and the flowing abstraction from L’Arlatan in Arles couldn’t be more different—yet they click. One’s all urban grit, the other pure sophistication, but together they prove that great art doesn’t mind breaking the rules (or sharing a wall).
